Nick, Candace and I went to the Salinas Airshow, and while Nick and I once again fulfilled our duties as members of the International Poleholders Union, Candace was (somewhat reluctantly) newly inducted into the union.
Afterwards, she did say she had fun, though she still seemed to think she had been crazy to let herself be "volunteered". :-)

Pictures from the apex of the last turn
of the Amgen Tour of California Stage 5 time trial course in Solvang, CA, on February 23,
2007. I took the first picture about noon. The
course was about 30 minutes long, and they started
at 11:00 AM, 1 minute apart, so I missed the first
30 or so riders. I missed about 10 more
during the rest of the race. Sometimes things just
happened faster than I (or my camera) could react. :-)
